David Ian Productions

David Ian Productions is a leading entertainment company based in London’s Covent Garden. Formed in 2006, DIP specializes in presenting large-scale theatrical productions in the UK, the US and internationally, and also offers a full general management service to the industry.

In 1994 the entertainer and television presenter Roy Castle died at his Buckinghamshire home, just two days after his 62nd birthday. He had been diagnosed with lung cancer early in 1992 and decided to go public with his battle against the disease, spending his last months raising money for cancer charities. His career as a dancer, singer, comedian and trumpeter spanned more than 30 years, but he is probably best remembered for the BBC programme Record Breakers, which he presented for more than a decade.
